Stop by Steadfast Supply to get introduced to the young entrepreneurs of Mighty Greens, a youth-led business developed by the local non-profit City Blossoms. The Mighty Greens will be setting up shop with a wide array of garden based products from loose leaf teas to homemade vinegars that they have grown, developed, packaged, and marketed themselves. Find the perfect holiday gift for the green thumb, foodie, or tea lover in your life and support a group of seriously cool entrepreneurs while you're at it!
We are Mighty Greens, a youth-led, garden-based business, developed through City Blossoms' Youth Entrepreneurship program. We are a cooperative of young people (ages 14-19) who use school gardens and greenhouses as spaces to learn how to care for plants and produce while growing our business.
Our cooperative members are primarily students from DC public schools, Eastern Senior High School and Cardozo Education Campus. This holiday season we will be selling our handmade products using harvested materials from the garden including our herb seasonings and new line of loose leaf teas.
City Blossoms is a local nonprofit that develops innovative programs and tools to build healthy communities through creative, kid-driven green spaces.
