Join Starsha Valentine, owner of Lillith Plant Shop, to learn the craft of the Japanese Kokedama -- a traditional bonsai form.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: Kokedama simply means "moss ball." In this all inclusive workshop, participants will join Lillith Plant Shop in creating their own kokedama with a plant of their choosing and learn how to keep your moss ball garden happy and healthy. A complimentary beverage will be served.
ABOUT THE HOST: Lillith Plant Shop brings indoor greenery to the plant curious, plant lovers, and plant collectors of the District of Columbia. Committed to cultivating community in and around DC, we partner with local artisans of color and women to pair our foliage collection with diverse planters, pottery, and wood workings. Our popups and workshops are gathering spaces for people who are as passionate and curious about plants and urban indoor greening as we are.
