Bring a bit of the forest into your home! Join Alicia and Cielo of Rock Paper Plant for a botanical evening on how to mount and care for orchids. In their natural environment, many orchids grow on rocks or trees, become inspired to create a beautiful living wall hanging with the use of moss and lightweight sustainably-sourced cork bark, for your home.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
How to select a healthy orchid and assess its roots
Understand the fundamentals of orchid care -- light, watering, and how to encourage new flowers -- for moth orchids, the most commonly available type of orchid
Discover the special properties of orchids that make it possible to grow them mounted on bark
All materials, including plants and care instructions, will be provided. Please take your time and enjoy the experience. This workshop is suitable for all levels.
