COOKIE DECORATING WORKSHOP

Have you ever wanted to learn how to decorate cookies using royal icing? Meghan Cassidy is here to show you how it's done for this holiday season!
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: In this class, you will learn the basics of royal icing and several different decorating techniques including flooding, piping, and wet-on-wet. This class is aimed for beginners, so come as you are! We will practice our piping and flooding skills before decorating some holiday-themed sugar and gingerbread cookies. You will go home with six cookies decorated by you and plenty of tricks of the trade!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Meghan Cassidy is a D.C. resident and native of Silver Spring, Maryland. When she is not teaching high school and college mathematics, she bakes.
Meghan loves sharing her creativity and bringing joy to others in the form of decorated sugar cookies. She is a self-taught baker, and owes most of her skills to her mom and the awesome community of cookiers on the internet.
When not math-ing or cookie-ing, Meghan enjoys exploring cute coffee shops and the great outdoors, honing her calligraphy skills, and belly-laughing with her husband, Anthony.
