WHAT IS RENT THE RUNWAY: Rent The Runway is a platform with a mission to make women
feel empowered and self-confident every single day. It is also an online service that provides designer dress and accessory rentals. It was started by Jennifer Hyman and Jennifer Fleiss, who launched the company in November 2009. Initially a purely e-commerce company, it later opened brick-and-mortar retail locations in New York City, Chicago, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

MEET YOUR HOST: Enica Barnes is a student at The University of the District of Columbia studying Fashion Merchandising, and the Social Media and Events Lead at Steadfast Supply. After working at Rent The Runway is Georgetown, she was offered the opportunity to become an ambassador in the Spring of 2019. Enica loves to sing, fashion design, dress up and watch The Office.
