DIY FELTED SUCCULENTS WORKSHOP

Do you want a houseplant without the hassle of actually keeping it alive? No light? No water? No problem! Join Alicia and Cielo, the two ladies behind Rock Paper Plant for a botanical evening sculpting a succulent out of wool. Felted succulents can survive in even the most inhospitable climates and look really cute on your desk.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: In this workshop, you will learn:
Learn about the origins and mechanics behind needle felting, a method of creating three-dimensional structures out of wool
Master the fundamentals of sculpting basic shapes out of wool
Make and take home an adorable needle-felted cactus in a ceramic pot
No experience and definitely no green thumbs needed! All materials will be provided.

They firmly believe that everyone can benefit from tapping into their creative side. In addition, they also believe in the power of plants and that bringing the outdoors in makes everyone happier and healthier. The two founded Rock Paper Plant to share these values with the fine folks of Washington, DC.
