DIY POM POMS BASKET
HOSTED BY ROCK PAPER PLANT LOCATION: BALLSTON QUARTER, VA
Join Rock Paper Plant for a creative evening crafting handmade pom poms and tassels. Poms and tassels are a fun and whimsical way to jazz up just about anything, from baskets and pillows to hats and earrings. In this workshop with founders, Alicia and Cielo, you'll learn how to personalize a seagrass basket with handmade pom poms and/or tassels. These boho-chic baskets are the perfect home for a 6” houseplant or wherever you need attractive storage around the house.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: In this workshop you will learn:
Choose among a variety of designs and colors for a completely personalized basket
Learn how to make pom poms and tassels out of yarn and embroidery floss
Make and take home a decorated basket, pom pom maker and tassel maker
No experience needed! All materials will be provided.

ABOUT ROCK PAPER PLANT: Alicia and Cielo, are the two ladies behind Rock Paper Plant. By day, they are non-profit unicorns and makers and teachers on nights and weekends. They firmly believe that everyone can benefit from tapping into their creative side. In addition, they also believe in the power of plants and that bringing the outdoors in makes everyone happier and healthier. The two founded Rock Paper Plant to share these values with the fine folks of Washington, DC.
