FESTIVE POUR: WINE BOTTLE CANDLE MAKING WORKSHOP

  • Steadfast Supply - Entrance on Water Street SE 301 Tingey Street Southeast Washington, DC, 20003 United States (map)

Discover the art of crafting unique, eco-friendly centerpieces in our “Sip & Pour” candle-making workshop.

Create a holiday masterpiece with a beautifully handcrafted candle that's not only elegant but also sustainably made.

In this workshop, you'll repurpose recycled wine glass bottles, each holding approximately 16 oz of all-natural soy wax. Choose from two delightful fragrance blends—either the warm, spiced aroma of mulled wine or the refreshing scent of Fraser fir. To add a special touch, decorate the top of your candle with eco-friendly biodegradable glitters.

No prior experience is necessary. Your instructor, Do Young Ahn, owner of Wick and Paper, will guide you through every step of the candle-making process, ensuring you leave with both a gorgeous candle and a solid understanding of the craft. While your candle cures, take some time to relax, enjoy refreshments, and explore the curated products at Steadfast Supply.

Want to craft more? For an additional $30, you can make a second 16 oz wine bottle candle to take home—double the creativity and double the joy!
